About the artist

Although
I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, it never felt like home. The atmosphere of a big city was too stressful for me and a few years back I moved to a smaller town in southern Sweden. In 2022 my wonderful daughter came into the world and became my greatest inspiration.

Ever since I can remember, my mind has been in an constant organized and unorganized
chaos. Ideas about everything and nothing goes through, and since it never shuts off, I have always struggled with how to channel it.

Over the years I have done a lot of shopping for clothes to be able to put color and form together. In the later years, I started to involve interior design to express my creativity at home.

That’s when I noticed what you surround yourself with at home really had an impact on my mind. Something that I haven’t really given much thought to before.

I started to find my preferences and color palette that makes my brain at ease. 

That follows me into my art so that’s what I’m bringing into my paintings. 

A calming palette, with colors that I dampen for a soft look. Love to experiment with different colors, but I always put grey or beige in it to make it dove for a calm impact.

I’ve painted a bit in different times throughout my life but when I started again
this summer I fell in love. It brings my mind that is constantly running in a
high speed a real peace and quiet. 

Abstract appeals to me the most, since it allows me to just go with emotion and flow
with the colors and shapes. I do have a soft spot for landscapes so that's what's mostly comes out of it.
